I understand

Asieh Amini

Asieh Amini is an award winning poet, journalist and human rights activist. She is best known for her women's rights work in Iran, including the campaign "Stop Stoning Forever" that fights against stoning of women and minors. After the re-election of Mahmoud Ahmadinejad in 2009 presidential election in Iran, the situation for journalists and activists grew more dangerous and Amini left the country. Here she offers her thought provoking views on censorship that is imposed on journalists and artists in Iran.

This interview gives amazing background information for my documentary film Persian Black Metal Story.
